Takushoku University holds an essay contest for high school students and international students nationwide.
This contest inherits the spirit of the third president, Shinpei Goto, and the second superintendent, Inazo Nitobe, who left an important mark in the process of Japan's appearance in the international community from the Meiji era to the Taisho era. It is held for the purpose of fostering human resources who can play an active role globally by widely communicating the importance of "international understanding" and "social contribution".

【Qualification requirements】
・ Those who are enrolled in high school (all grades), secondary school (4th-6th grades), and college of technology (1st-3rd grades) at the time of application.
・ Those who are enrolled in a foreign school corresponding to a high school designated by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology and are in the grade (1st to 3rd grade) equivalent to a Japanese high school.
・ Persons who belong to an educational facility accredited by an international evaluation organization (WASC, ACSI, CIS) and are in the grade (1st-3rd grade) equivalent to a Japanese high school.
* Students whose mother tongue is not Japanese can also apply in the "International Student Division".
