The Japan Information Olympics (JOI = Japanese Olympiad in Informatics) is a competition that decides the best competition programmer in Japan for junior and senior high school students.It is a competition of wisdom where students up to the second grade of high school gather and compete for the ability of mathematical information science.In competition, it is necessary to design a high-performance algorithm for a given task and implement it appropriately as a program.
After the first and second qualifying rounds, about 20 top performers, including gold, silver and bronze awards, will be commended based on the results of the final round.Approximately 20 people will be invited to the spring training camp, and four Japanese national team players from the International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI), which is held every year, will be selected.The Japan Information Olympics also serves as the IOI Japan National Team Player Selection Committee.
All qualifying rounds are held online and can be attended at home or at school.
