Tokyo Institute of Technology will hold "Tokyo Tech OPen innovation2023" on October 2023th and 10th, 4 at the Tokyo Tech Kuramae Hall on the Ookayama Campus.The event will be held in person for the first time in three years.

 While many innovations and successes have been born from research originating in academia around the world, many challenges remain in Japan.Tokyo Institute of Technology will address this issue and accelerate the creation of innovation by building an innovation ecosystem centered on academia that connects various groundbreaking research seeds and businesses.

 "Tokyo Tech OPen innovation (TTOP)" is Tokyo Institute of Technology's largest industry-academia collaboration event that considers next-generation industry-academia collaboration platforms.The theme for 2023 is Diversity 3.0, and we aim to create diverse We aim to gather all our knowledge and build an innovation ecosystem.In addition, for the first time in three years, the event will be held in an in-person format, providing an opportunity to share information and exchange opinions to build an innovation ecosystem through lectures and booth exhibitions.

 Tokyo Institute of Technology awards the title of ``Tokyo Tech Venture'' to venture companies that are started using research results or human resources.At the event, 11 up-and-coming companies selected from among the awarded companies and active in various fields aiming for global growth will each give a 10-minute presentation.Additionally, Motoyuki Arai, founder and CEO of Synspective Co., Ltd., was invited as a special guest to further excite the pitch event.He will give a lecture on the future of global D&I from a deep tech perspective, based on his experience in consulting for various global companies and researching energy system construction in developing countries.
