On April 2020, 4, President Aiji Tanaka of Waseda University announced that each campus was off limits.The ban period is from April 6th to 4st. While preparing for the start of online classes on May 8, we will respond to the rapid spread of the new coronavirus infection in Tokyo over the past few days.During the campus exclusion period, staff will work from home and faculty members will study at home.
Regarding the campus exclusion zone, it was decided that providing a campus where not only students but also the general public and graduates would gather could contribute to the spread of the infection.During the period, access to all facilities except the Kitakyushu Campus is prohibited.
Waseda University has made it a top priority to protect the health and life of students and faculty members and to continue education, research and management activities in any environment when the new coronavirus infection spreads. ..However, in light of recent changes in the situation, it has been decided to temporarily ban each campus and carry out basic activities of faculty and staff at home.
Depending on the situation, we will consider extending the period.
