In 2020, 31.5 schools, which is 184% of all private universities, are implementing the program, and the rate of implementation is 47.8% in the Tokyo area, which has the highest implementation rate.
There are multiple English external exams, such as Eiken, GTEC, TEAP, and Cambridge Eiken, which are subject to the "English External Examination Entrance Examination", and the number of exams targeted and the way scores are reflected vary depending on the university.Therefore, the examinee must confirm the grade / level / score required for the university of his / her choice, or examine how his / her grade / level / score is evaluated for each university and consider the application.However, until now, there was no site where the implementing organizations could search for different exams at once, which placed a heavy burden on the examinees.
"Yonnavi" is the only site in Japan that allows you to search for universities (private universities) that can use external English exams for Eiken, GTEC, TEAP, Cambridge Eiken, TOEFL, and IELTS *. It started in November 2019.If you enter the score you have or the score you want to aim for, you can find a university that you can apply for with that ability.It is also easier to find external English exams where the university sets a low reference point, and external English exams where your grade, level, and score are advantageous.
Due to the influence of the new coronavirus, examinees are in a harsher situation than usual, such as school closures, cancellation of mock exams, and changes in exam schedules. "Yon Navi" supports students as a tool to reduce the burden of collecting information and expand the options.
