Shonan Institute of Technology is an engineering university whose mission is to "cultivate engineers who contribute to society." In April 2023, the Faculty of Informatics was newly established in addition to the existing Faculty of Engineering, creating a system of two faculties and five departments.The Shonan campus, surrounded by nature, is equipped with a complete ICT environment and facilities, enabling students to acquire specialized knowledge and practical skills unique to an engineering university.Active learning is incorporated into many classes, and the learning style is characterized by students actively participating in classes and growing while deepening their understanding through repeated practice.We provide generous support for each individual student through various systems, such as a homeroom teacher system for a small number of students and detailed employment support.
