Fostering professionals who are active in the fields of health, medical care, and welfare
Fukuoka Prefectural University is one of the few public welfare universities in western Japan that has two faculties, the Faculty of Human and Social Studies and the Faculty of Nursing, and two graduate schools. Under the new curriculum, we are creating an educational environment where "teachers and students are close to each other" in order to acquire a wide range of education, specialization, and humanity that can be demonstrated in society in "Student First".We will enhance the cross-university education program and train excellent professional professionals who are full of humanity to solve problems in collaboration with other professional occupations. We aim to develop leaders who are active in society, such as public health workers, clinical psychologists, teachers, nursery teachers, and civil servants.
