As part of the 2024 National Conference, the Japanese Society of Landscape Architects, a public interest incorporated association, will hold an open design competition for high school students, students, and individuals or groups of working adults under the age of 30.
The design theme is ``Eclipsing landscape'' and ``Unchanging landscape'' ~Thinking about the landscape within the time axis~''
We are seeking proposals for spatial designs that will not only preserve and preserve the value of the selected site, but also inherit and develop it. In addition to proposing mechanisms and programs, be sure to give a presentation about what kind of experience you can have at human scale. In historic spaces, minimal renovations such as planting, garden paths, and reorganization of signs can be considered, but other options include infrastructure renovation, new construction, and the introduction of new facilities. We welcome proposals for spatial designs that go beyond the framework of landscaping, civil engineering, architecture, products, etc.
