The Sankei Junior Calligraphy Contest is held for kindergarten, elementary, junior high and high school students nationwide with the aim of spreading and developing calligraphy and calligraphy.Every year, we receive many entries from all over Japan and overseas, and the previous competition received 12580 entries, a record high.
This year's 36th exhibition will be held at the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum from August 2024th to August 8th, 14, and all submitted works will be exhibited at the venue.
For the high school student category, there are no restrictions on submissions (from one character to many characters), and reference assignments can be written or original (any style of writing).
