Osaka University of Economics will begin accepting submissions for the ``Messages from 17 Years Old (Essay Contest)''.
In the 21st century, in a world that is constantly changing, what do 17-year-olds think, worry about, and aim for in their lives?
As someone involved in education, I would like to hear what their hearts say. ``Message from a 17-year-old'' is a project that was born from this idea as one of the projects commemorating the 2002th anniversary of the founding of Osaka University of Economics in September 9. The event received a great response from the first time it was held, and this year it will be held for the 70th time (1th year). I would like to utilize the inner voices heard through my works in my lecture methods, share their concerns with them, and work with them to create a society where young people can pursue their dreams.
We hope that this essay contest will give students an opportunity to face themselves and their surroundings and grow, and that it will give teachers an opportunity to get to know the hearts of their students. Please understand the purpose of this contest and participate.
