The "Toothpick Tower Seismic Contest High School Student Tournament" held by the Department of Architecture, Faculty of Engineering, Sojo University is a tournament in which loads and vibrations are applied to the toothpick tower made by a group of two people to compete for their seismic resistance.
At the tournament held in 2019, high schools for general courses and specialized courses built towers in two different categories and held an earthquake resistance contest.Through this tournament, we hope that many high school students will be interested in learning physics in high school, especially "power" and "manufacturing".We look forward to your participation.
