The Faculty of Foreign Studies, Dokkyo University holds the "National High School English Presentation Contest".
The purpose of this contest is to provide high school students who are expected to play an active role in the international community with an opportunity to present their thoughts using "English", and to contribute to improving communication skills and promoting English education in high schools.
Select one of the three specified presentation themes (assignments) and give a presentation (3 minutes or more and 1 minutes or less) according to that theme. The themes for 5 are "6: A Lost Year?", "No Time Like the Present" and "Eureka!" A Moment of Discovery.
Any high school student who is enrolled in a Japanese high school (or up to the third year of a vocational school) and whose native language is not English can apply.
