In order to contribute to the further promotion of literature and the dissemination of "Kyoto, the cultural city", Kyoto City has set up the Kyoto Literary Award Executive Committee and is holding the "Kyoto Literary Award".We are now accepting applications for the XNUMXrd Kyoto Literary Awards and Reader Selection Committee members.
The Kyoto Literary Award is divided into three categories: "general category", "junior high and high school student category", and "overseas category". You can apply for any "novel" based on Kyoto, regardless of genre. The highest award in the "junior high and high school student category" is for 10 yen for book cards, and the award for excellence is for 5 yen for book cards.
The final selection committee members are writer Shinji Ishii, Areno Inoue, and literary critic Tsuyoshi Menjo.
