Inheriting tradition and opening up a "new era of pharmacy"
Since its founding in 1902, Meiji Pharmaceutical University, which boasts a long history and tradition, has cultivated and produced excellent human resources in a wide range of fields of pharmaceutical science. It has two departments, a 6-year pharmacy department and a 4-year biopharmaceutical science department, and covers a wide range of fields from practical medical pharmacy education to research.Equipped with high-quality teaching staff and top-class research facilities, we develop a fulfilling educational curriculum and train pharmacists and drug discovery researchers who will be responsible for future medical care.Students of the Department of Pharmacy study a program that emphasizes clinical education and maintain a high pass rate in the National Pharmacist Examination every year.
