Develop new agriculture and forestry by acquiring advanced practical skills and abundant creativity

In April 2020, Shizuoka Prefectural University of Agriculture, Forestry and Environment was opened, inheriting the 4-year history of Agriculture and Forestry University.We are developing human resources who are professionals in agriculture and forestry management who can meet the needs of the times and who have the practical ability to become leaders in the local community.We develop a curriculum to learn not only advanced cultivation techniques but also processing, distribution, sales, and management in order to sustainably run agriculture and forestry.We have established the knowledge we have learned as a technology that can actually be used, such as training at research facilities in the prefecture and training at external companies.In addition, while preserving and nurturing the landscape, environment, traditions and culture of rural areas, we also acquire the human power required as a leader.
