 Takebe was born in 1986 and is 31 years old. After graduating from Yokohama City University School of Medicine in 2011, he has been an associate professor of organ regenerative medicine at Yokohama City University in 2013 and a deputy director of the Stem Cell and Organoid Medicine Center of Cincinnati Children's Hospital in 2017. In 2013, we succeeded in creating the world's first human liver primordium (liver bud) with a vascular structure from iPS cells. In 2014, we discovered the optimal culture method and transplantation method for liver buds, and in 2015, we established a method for creating various mini-organs. In 2017, we succeeded in mass production of "mini liver".
