Kyoto Sangyo University will start an entrepreneur training program in April 2023.Taking advantage of the fact that about 4 students from 10 humanities and science faculties gather at one location, we will promote the humanities and sciences fusion training for all undergraduate students.
According to Kyoto Sangyo University, in the Entrepreneur Development Program, entrepreneurship courses are set up in the common education courses that all undergraduate students can take, and they teach basic knowledge necessary for starting a business, grasping social issues, and the relationship between science and technology and society. There will be four lectures to learn and two exercises for market exploration and planning.
In order to enable students to acquire further necessary knowledge, "Data, AI and Society", which has been certified by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology as a mathematics, data science, and AI (artificial intelligence) education program, will be held in each faculty. We recommend related specialized education subjects, and use Benesse Corporation's "Udemy Business" for web construction and programming.
For students' entrepreneurial activities, we have six full-time faculty members with a track record of entrepreneurship guidance to support them, as well as the "Kitchen Space" and "Fab Space" on the Kamiyama Campus, and the off-campus "Machiya Manabi Terrace Nishijin". Use activity bases such as, and develop new entrepreneurial activity facilities.
