Another reason for wanting to become a "national or local government employee" was that they had witnessed how they worked to improve the educational environment during the COVID-2 crisis.Also, the reason why I want to become a "system engineer/programmer" is that I have felt programming close to me since I was little, and I want to contribute to the development of AI.The percentage was particularly high among high school boys.

 Among female high school students, 1st place is “National public servant / local government employee”, 2nd place is “Nurse”, 3rd place is “Teacher / teacher / university professor”.This year, “National civil servants / local civil servants” ranked first, and “Nurses”, which ranked first last year, moved to second place.In addition, “pharmacist” was slightly higher among high school girls, and “clinical technologist/radiological technologist” was ranked 1th from 1th last year. Her reasons for wanting to become a “national or local government employee” include the influence of those around her and the desire to become a diplomat. As for "nurses," there were people who worked close to them, and people they looked up to.

 In addition, over 2% of the high school students who answered that they "have not decided or do not know" the occupation they want to become.By grade, the percentage decreased as the grade went up, as in the previous year.

 When asked about the current qualifications of high school students, the top overall answer was the Practical English Proficiency Test (Eiken), with over 1%, and the second place was the Japan Kanji Proficiency Test (Kanjin), with over 4%. rice field. After the third place, "Practical Mathematics Skills Test (Mathematics Test)", "TOEIC / TOEFL", and "Calculator Calculation Ability Test" followed.Among female high school students, "Word document processing skill certification test" and "Handwriting skill test (former pen letter test)" also ranked 2th, albeit in the 2% range.

 When asked about "qualifications they would like to obtain in the near future as high school students," overall, the "Practical English Proficiency Test (Eiken)", which is the same as the qualification they currently have, ranked first with over 3%.
