The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology announced the 2023 Tobitate!Of the applicants who applied for the Study Abroad JAPAN New Japan Representative Program from all over the country, 108 students from 261 schools were hired. A send-off party, an exchange party, and an orientation are scheduled for July 7 at the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.
文科省によると、トビタテ！留学プログラムは官民協働で2013年から進めている留学促進キャンペーン。2023年度はイノベーターコースに新1年生1人を含む62人、STEAMコースに新1年生7人を含む415人、ダイバーシティコースに新1年生23人を含む879人の合計新1年生31人を含む1,356人が応募した。
審査の結果、イノベーターコースは32人、STEAMコースは新1年生2人を含む105人、ダイバーシティコースは新1年生12人を含む124人の合計新1年生14人を含む261人が選ばれた。在籍校は全国の国公私立大学、短期大学、高等専門学校、専修学校108校。
There are 50 countries and regions to study abroad, with 148 students from Europe having the largest number.This was followed by 51 in North America, 31 in Asia, 12 in Oceania, 11 in Africa, 6 in Latin America and 2 in the Middle East.
