The Kinjo Gakuin University KIDS Center, which is adjacent to the university, was opened in October 2015.As a facility to support child-rearing in the community, we are implementing various programs such as child-rearing seminars, parent-child classrooms, student events, music therapy, and child-rearing consultation.It is also used as a training facility for specialized subjects and common education subjects in each department of Kinjo Gakuin University.
The event held this time with children aged 0 to 2 and their parents is held every year by the 3rd and 4th graders of the seminar of Associate Professor Naoko Hibino of the Department of Contemporary Children.The purpose is to gain real-life learning through practice just like in a nursery school.The 4th graders who have experience in the event made use of the previous experience and worked together to complete the project while drawing out ideas well from the 3rd graders who participated for the first time.
In 2018, as a preparation for Christmas, there is a cooking corner where parents and children make and eat a mixed rice tree, a paint play corner where they make Christmas cards, a corner where they can enjoy using handmade musical instruments such as xylophone, drums, and maracas, and a pool of newspapers and balloons.
