The Mie University International Ninja Research Center is requesting museums, boards of education, and data collectors nationwide to provide ninja information.The purpose is to create a database of what kind of materials and folklore exist and disseminate them both domestically and internationally, and if influential information is received, go to the site and investigate the materials.
According to the International Ninja Research Center, this survey is the "National Ninja Survey Project (Ninja Pro)". Since the opening of the center in July 2017, faculty members have been sent to field surveys at the request of the community, but this is the first time that a full-scale survey of ninja materials has been conducted nationwide.In addition to sending request documents to about 7 facilities and data collectors nationwide, we are calling for cooperation in the investigation on our website.
The materials we are looking for are all kinds of documents related to ninja, such as ancient documents that left ninja records in the Edo period, ninjutsu books, and family trees. Therefore, any trivial information is acceptable.
The International Ninja Research Center is centered on history experts such as Deputy Director Yuji Yamada, Professor of the Faculty of Humanities and Yoshiki Takao, Associate Professor of Iga Satellite. I am researching, opening a civic course, and building an international network of ninja studies.
