Odakyu Electric Railway and Takashi Iba Laboratory, Faculty of Policy Management, Keio University have created a card that expresses how foreign tourists visiting Japan enjoy Japan in words. In "Style Language of How to Enjoy Japan", we introduce 200 ways to enjoy by interviewing foreigners living in Japan.
According to Odakyu Electric Railway, the 200 ways to enjoy the game are based on interviews with about 50 foreigners living in Japan and Japanese with overseas travel experience. The 200 ways of enjoying are divided into three genres: "seeing and enjoying", "touching and enjoying", and "eating and enjoying". Introductory text and image photos are posted.
By looking at the card, not only can foreign tourists visiting Japan know how to enjoy Japan, but also the Japanese who guide foreigners can understand at a glance what kind of guidance should be done.
For example, in "Changes in train windows," the train that connects the city center and the suburbs is taken as an example, and you can enjoy how the scenery seen from the train windows changes from high-rise buildings to shopping districts, residential areas, and beaches.
On February 2, Odakyu Electric Railway and Keio University will hold a presentation of this card and a workshop using the card in the inbound league in Shinjuku, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo.
