Nippon Institute of Technology built a multipurpose lecture building in December 50 as a construction project commemorating the 2018th anniversary of the university's establishment. On April 12, 2019, we invited the people concerned and held a grand opening commemorative tour.In addition to the learning support function, it has begun to be used in various ways as a communication space between students and as an event venue.

The steel-framed, 7-story multipurpose lecture building consists of an active learning zone on the 1st and 2nd floors, a lecture room zone on the 3rd to 6th floors, and a multipurpose hall on the 7th floor. Not only for use in class, but also for various needs of students such as communicating in groups, taking lectures with a small number of people, and self-study individually. There are many spaces to secure a place to stay outside class hours.

In the active learning zone on the 1st and 2nd floors, there are 300 lecture halls for 2 people and large and small learning spaces such as academic living and learning zone that students can freely use.Facilities such as a learning support center, an English education center, and a teaching profession education center will also be relocated to provide efficient learning support. There are also facilities that improve the convenience of student life, such as a purchasing corner, a book cafe (book counter), a school bus departure / arrival area, and a waiting room.

In the lecture room zone on the 3rd to 6th floors, there are 100 general classrooms for 2 people on each floor, for a total of 8 rooms.A natural ventilation system is installed in each classroom. If it is judged that it is advantageous for energy saving to use the outside air by comparing the temperature, humidity, wind speed, etc. inside and outside the classroom, the air conditioner in the classroom is automatically stopped (sign is lit) and the environment is switched to natural ventilation. Adopted the system.

The multipurpose hall on the 7th floor is used as a venue for events such as academic conferences, lectures, and banquets. If you look outdoors, you can see the Tokyo Sky Tree and Mt. Fuji, and you can see the entire local Miyashiro town from the Sky View Lounge in one corner.
