On June 2020, 6, Osaka University held the first award ceremony for the Women's Graduate Student Excellence Research Award.The 22 female graduate students who received the award were handed a certificate of commendation and a list of supplementary prizes by President Nishio.
The Women's Graduate Student Excellent Research Award encourages excellent female graduate students to enter the doctoral program and aspire to become researchers in the future.By commending female graduate students who belong to the Graduate School of Natural Science and Technology and have achieved excellent research results, we will motivate them to do research and encourage the development of excellent female researchers who will be responsible for future academic research.It was founded by a donation from Professor Emeritus Masao Toyota and former Dean of the Graduate School of Engineering to the Osaka University Future Fund "Women's Advancement Support Project".
