As competition between universities intensifies due to the declining birthrate and other factors, universities are under pressure to reform against the backdrop of diversifying student needs.In order to promote reform, it is necessary to collect and analyze all information from student entrance to graduation and employment, but these are managed individually by departments, faculties / laboratories, libraries, etc. At present, it was not easy to consolidate and integrate.This "Unified-One Integrated Database" was developed for the purpose of aggregating and integrating such information and realizing information utilization in real time.
First, the data managed by each department is collected by the WebDAV server.The collected data can be imported into the integrated database at the timing set by the administrator, and the latest information can be aggregated.By equipping the layout that is indispensable for data utilization as standard equipment and mapping the collected data, data integration, which was a laborious task in the past, has been facilitated.The information gathered in the integrated database can be analyzed and aggregated according to the student's attributes and graphed, and a new analysis template can be created by linking with BI tool "Tableau".
The company, which has set a goal of introducing it to 2019 universities by the end of 100, commented, "I hope that ICT can be used to support not only university management strategy planning but also detailed education tailored to individual students."
