The Eiken Foundation of Japan has decided to set the deadline for individual applications for the first test in 2021 to April 1, which is earlier than usual, because it is expected that it will be difficult to secure a venue due to the spread of the new coronavirus infection. If the venue is set up, the deadline will be extended after Golden Week as usual.

According to the Eiken Association, the first test in 2021 is scheduled to start at the end of May.As in the past, the Eiken Association has a policy of allowing all applicants to take the test without limiting the number of people.

Until now, the application deadline was often the end of Golden Week, but since it is expected that it will be difficult to secure a venue with the new Corona, the individual application deadline has been set to April 4.By setting a schedule with plenty of time, we will secure a venue where all applicants can take the examination during that time.

Some of the approximately 2 scheduled venues for group examinations nationwide are accepting individual application examinees, and the Eiken Association introduces them as quasi-venues for individual application examinees on their website.

If the venue is set up nationwide, the deadline for individual applications will be extended until May 5th, the end of Golden Week. As of April 6, we are enthusiastically considering the extension, and the conclusion will be announced on our website.
