According to it, after March 2020, when the spread of the new coronavirus became a problem, the flow of people was decreasing in all places except residential areas, but the flow of people at grocery stores and pharmacies increased after May 3. Was.It was found that the relationship between the flow of people on public transportation and the number of infected people is weak, but the flow of people at grocery stores and pharmacies is in the range of -2021% to +5%, and the flow of people at parks is -5%. The research group believes that this result suggests that it is not necessary to restrict the flow of people in all areas to prevent the spread of COVID-XNUMX, and that restricting the flow of people in specific places according to the infection status will be effective.
In addition, we believe that we have suggested the need for a walkable city that uses public transportation instead of cars for the post-pandemic.
