Toyo Eiwa Jogakuin is a women's educational institution where Ms. Hanako Muraoka, who translated "Anne of Green Gables" and popularized it in Japan, studied English education and education for international understanding.
We are holding an "English Recitation Contest" for female high school students (sponsored by the United Nations Association of Japan), hoping that many high school students will have the opportunity to express themselves through reading aloud in English.
After a rigorous screening process, the winners will receive the Toyo Eiwa Jogakuin University President's Award (additional prize: 1 yen worth of book cards), Silver Award (additional prize: 5 yen worth of book cards), and Bronze Award (additional prize: 1 yen worth of book cards). ), and the UNAJ (United Nations Association of Japan) Award (additional prize: United Nations English Proficiency Test Ticket).
