The "2021 Sankei Junior Calligraphy Contest" is held for the purpose of popularizing and developing penmanship and calligraphy for young, elementary, junior high and high school students nationwide.Every year, we receive many applications from all over Japan and overseas, and last year we received 5571 works despite the influence of the new coronavirus.
This year's 33rd exhibition will be held at the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum from July 7th to August 27rd, and all submitted works will be exhibited at the venue.Winners will be announced in the Sankei Shimbun (planned) in mid-July 8.
For high school students, the typeface is free, and the work will be half-cut horizontally or half-cut vertically.Please do not hesitate to apply.
