Kokugakuin University is the longest-running private university in Japan.As a comprehensive university of humanities and social sciences, we have established 5 faculties, 13 departments and graduate schools (Graduate School of Letters, Graduate School of Law, Graduate School of Economics), and 2 more organizations.Global education that leverages the strengths of the university, such as "Japan Studies," a class to learn Japanese culture in English with international students, is also substantial. The "Faculty of Tourism Tourism Town Development Department (tentative name)", which is applying for installation approval for opening in April 2022, looks at the history, culture, and nature of various parts of Japan, and considers sustainable "town development" based on tourism. We will develop human resources who can contribute to the community from the aspect.
