Motoki Fujii Laboratory, Faculty of Education, Shizuoka University has applied for the second consecutive year from 1.17 schools and groups nationwide at the "136 Bosai Koshien", which commends schools and groups that carry out excellent disaster prevention education and its activities. Received the Grand Prize. On January 2, 2017, an award ceremony and a presentation were held in Hyogo prefecture, and the activities of the laboratory were announced.
"1.17 Bosai Koshien" is engaged in disaster prevention education and disaster prevention activities in schools and communities in order to pass on the experiences and lessons learned from the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake that occurred on January 1995, 1 to the future. A project sponsored by Hyogo Prefecture and others to honor children and students.
The selection criteria are "locality", which is an initiative that suits the actual conditions of the area in which you live, "creativity", which is unique and has ingenuity in the content of activities, and children actively participate and think. It is judged from the viewpoint of "independence" that we are working on while working, and "continuity" that is not transient but that we can maintain an effective disaster prevention awareness even after becoming an adult.
The Fujii Laboratory, which won the "Bosai Grand Prix" next to the Grand Prix, is promoting disaster prevention education efforts in collaboration with schools and communities. It was praised for developing lesson plans to improve judgment and action, and providing teaching materials to schools in Shizuoka, Iwate, and Aichi prefectures.
