Chukyo University announced that it will introduce the "High School Connection Entrance Examination" in the Faculty of International English, Faculty of Economics, and Faculty of Law from 2017.As the reform of high school connection progressed and the efforts of the entrance examination selection reform to evaluate the examinees in a multifaceted and comprehensive manner progressed at each university, it was introduced in order to respond to the challenging attitude and motivation of high school students.
The Faculty of International English overturns the common sense that "admissions = classrooms" and conducts "experience-based exams" to participate in active tours.Candidates are evaluated for their attitude, independence, and cooperation through practical actions in the problem-solving process.The aim is to evaluate from various angles whether or not they have the background to play an active role on the international stage, and to confirm the basic understanding for studying at the same department.On the day of the meeting, we will meet at the Nagoya campus, and the location of the tour and the contents of the test will be announced after the meeting.
The Faculty of Economics has adopted a "credit-certified test".Take the credit-certified lecture "Learning of Keisei Saimin", which is held during the summer vacation, and comprehensively evaluate the grades and interview tests in the lecture.The credits taken will also be recognized as required credits for graduation after enrollment.
The Faculty of Law has introduced two types of tests, a "basic ability evaluation type test" and a "leadership type test".
