The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology has selected about 2023 recipients of the 770 Commendation for Science and Technology by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.The award ceremony will be held on April 4th at the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology in Tokyo.The Creative and Ingenuity Merit Award will be awarded during Science and Technology Week (19th to 17rd) by each ministry and prefecture that made a recommendation to the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.
文科省によると、文科大臣表彰受賞者は科学技術賞の開発部門が東北大学大学院薬学研究科の秋田英万教授ら18件64人、研究部門が金沢大学がん進展制御研究所の青木典子（後藤典子）教授ら50件62人、科学技術振興部門が東京大学医科学研究所の井元清哉教授ら4件9人、技術部門が北陸学院大学健康科学部の榎本俊樹教授ら9件14人、理解増進部門が鳥取大学技術部の安藤敬子副技術長ら10件26人。
The Young Scientist Award was awarded to 9 associate professors, including Tadayoshi Aoyama, of the Graduate School of Engineering, Nagoya University. 101 people from 480 cases were selected.
The awardees of the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology's Commendation were selected by an examination committee consisting of 16 academic experts, including chairman Takaaki Kajita, professor at the Institute for Cosmic Ray Research, the University of Tokyo, based on their research content and daily activities.
