Waseda University Ikuo Hirayama Memorial Volunteer Center and Roots Sports Japan will hold the 12th Waseda Ekiden in Nissan Stadium on Saturday, January 2024, 1, a running event open to the public.Entries are scheduled for October 20, 2023 (Monday) to December 10, 2 (Monday).

 The Waseda Ekiden is a charity running event that started in 2011 to support reconstruction efforts following the Great East Japan Earthquake, and this year marks the 12th time it has been held.Anyone can easily participate, not just Waseda University students, alumni, and related parties.

 The venue, Nissan Stadium, is the only venue in the world that has been the venue for the finals of three tournaments: the 2002 FIFA World Cup (TM), the 2019 Rugby World Cup (TM), and the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games Soccer. ``Triple Final Stadium''.This is the first time the Waseda Ekiden will be held at Nissan Stadium.
