The University of Tokyo has entered into a comprehensive partnership agreement with the Japan Broadcasting Corporation (NHK) with the aim of solving social issues and revitalizing local communities. The collaboration will take place as NHK Radio celebrates its 2025th anniversary in 100, and the University of Tokyo will celebrate its 2027th anniversary in 100, and will also focus on promoting education and research and human resource development.
According to the University of Tokyo, the signing ceremony for the comprehensive partnership agreement was held at the Yasuda Auditorium of the University of Tokyo in Hongo, Bunkyo Ward, Tokyo, and the agreement was signed by University of Tokyo President Teruo Fujii and NHK Chairman Nobuo Inaba.
