Reitaku University will give a lecture on August 2019, 8 at the university in collaboration with Kashiwa City, Chiba Prefecture, with the theme of "Toward the Realization of Morality to Think and Discuss" for elementary and junior high school faculty members in Kashiwa City. Was carried out.

In 2018, the university newly established the graduate school "Graduate School of Education, Department of Moral Education", which specializes in moral education, in order to develop teachers who can promote moral education.Furthermore, at the turning point of moral education, where moral education was fully implemented in elementary and junior high schools, by holding a course on moral education in collaboration with Kashiwa City, children and students will be able to improve the leadership of local faculty and staff. We aim to nurture the morality of the school.

This time, in the lecture by Associate Professor Kenichi Eshima (Faculty of Economics, Graduate School of Education), we explored the ideal way of moral education and morals toward the realization of "morals to think and discuss".At the same time, he thought about how the learning should be taught and practiced to live in daily school life and real life, and explained the points that will be useful for moral education and moral lessons from the second semester.

In addition, in the lecture by Professor Tadaaki Hironaka (Graduate School of Education), we propose how to create a lesson that makes the best use of the characteristics of morals and gives an idea of the goodness of children and students, mainly using reading materials from elementary and junior high schools. It seems that the participating faculty and staff were also very helpful in the concrete teaching plans that could be put to practical use immediately in the field.
