At Bunkyo Gakuin University, an app "AED N @ VI" that allows students of the Faculty of Business Administration to know where to install the automatic external defibrillator "AED" on September 2019, 9 and "Emergency Day". The event "AED-3 Grand Prix" was held.

Currently, the number of AEDs installed in Japan is estimated to be about 60, and it boasts the world's No. 1 penetration rate. However, in Japan, registration of the place where the AED is installed is not obligatory, so it is not possible to fully grasp where the AED is, and it is not fully utilized.Against this background, in January 2019, the Japan AED Foundation developed an app "AED N @ VI" that anyone can easily register and share the location of AED.While it is very effective in popularizing AEDs in Japan, it also has the problem that there are many points that are not well known and have a small number of registered vehicles.

Therefore, the students of the Faculty of Business Administration of Bunkyo Gakuin University held the "AED-1 Grand Prix" to make people who are not interested in AED feel closer to them while searching for AED as if they were playing games. At the event, I received a lecture on AED from a person from the Japan AED Foundation, and learned the basic knowledge of AED and what to do when a person collapses in front of me.After that, it is divided into 3 groups, and although it is usually used by many people, the number of AED registrations is small. You can search for AEDs while walking in the Harajuku section from Shibuya, and register how many AEDs in "AED N @ VI". I competed for Taka as if it were a game.Originally, 22 AEDs were registered between Shibuya and Harajuku, but 9 AEDs were additionally registered at the first event on September 3rd, and 1 AEDs were additionally registered at the second event on September 12th. And contributed to the new registration of 9 units in total.

The student who held the event said, "I was happy that people who are not usually interested in AEDs succeeded in inducing interest and interest by dividing into teams and competing. It was found that the AED is currently "there is a high possibility that banks, stations, schools, commercial facilities, etc. are installed", and it is well known that such a place should be used as a guide when using the AED. I want to go.In the future, we will aim to expand the scale by reviewing the program and collaborating with the AED Foundation on Instagram, and we would like to make efforts to create an opportunity to feel AED closer and raise awareness of lifesaving. I commented on the response of the event and future activities.
