 In the field of academics, Mr. Kono won the President's Award, and Mr. Kosuke Hamasaki, a second-year student at the Graduate School of Agriculture and Life Sciences, who worked on simulation research that contributes to the optimization of genome breeding. Seven people, including Saori Sakagami, a fourth-year doctoral student at the Graduate School of Medicine, who developed a new analysis method to help with the award, received the President's Award.
