Green bonds that invest in businesses that can be expected to improve the environment have been issued overseas by universities, but the issuance of social bonds that evaluate the social improvement effect of university research investment itself is unprecedented.
The Sustainable Finance Awards have been held every year since 2015.This time, SONPO Holdings, Taiyo Life Insurance Company, Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance, and Mizuho Securities were selected as the Excellence Awards following the Grand Prize.
