Nagoya University and DENSO Corporation have signed a partnership agreement on research exploration and co-creation education that will lead to value creation.

 This cooperation agreement effectively utilizes the mutual human resources of Nagoya University and Denso, and includes experts in various fields such as sociology, psychology, and economics as well as engineering. The purpose is to promote research and exploration for value creation in the future society with the theme of "harmony with people" and to develop "value-creating human resources".

 Taking advantage of the manufacturing strengths cultivated over many years by Nagoya University, which is attracting great expectations from society as a core university in the region where the manufacturing industry is most advanced, and Denso, which is headquartered in Aichi Prefecture, which is the same as Nagoya University, is a liberal arts and science department. Through activities to develop human resources who create value rather than solve problems, we will predict the technologies needed 10 to 20 years from now and lead to the creation of innovation.

 As a specific initiative, from May 2017, we will work to revitalize exchanges between engineers and researchers at both Nagoya University and DENSO, and integrate the literacy through the "medic effect" created by the exchange of human resources in various fields through industry-academia collaboration. We will develop and implement a new type of educational program, and create and explore research and development themes.
