Professor Reiko Kuroda of Tokyo University of Science has been reappointed as the ambassador of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' Initiative for Promoting Women's Science Career (WINDS).
WINDS is based on the belief that the success of women in the STEM field (education focusing on science and mathematics) will contribute to growth strategies through new innovations and improve the economic status of women. The aim is to show a vision for female careers in the STEM field, support the development of an environment for promoting active participation, and enhance the momentum for active participation by women in Japan and overseas.
