On May 2023, 5, the Research Center for Advanced Science and Technology of the University of Tokyo decided to open the Advanced Research Youth Academy, where junior and senior high school students can interact with researchers and students, and started recruiting high school researchers.Applicants will proceed with their own research under the guidance of graduate students and RCAST faculty members.
According to the University of Tokyo's RCAST, high school and junior high school students who have their own research themes and want to develop them can apply.Apply as a pair with a teacher through your school. 10 pairs of 15 people are the upper limit, and the participation fee is free.RCAST will bear part of the travel and accommodation expenses to the venue.
The summer intensive program scheduled to be held at RCAST on August 8 (Tuesday), individual guidance for graduate students and RCAST faculty members, online intensive program, spring intensive program scheduled for March 8, and online lectures.
