Sky Inc., a professional business system and software developer, has acquired the naming rights for a facility within the Hokkaido University Sapporo Campus in Kita Ward, Sapporo City. The facility name is "Sky Open Area," and this name will be used until the end of January 2027.
According to Sky, the naming rights have been obtained for the open area and literacy room on the second floor of the south wing area of the Hokkaido University Library main building, which will total approximately 2 square meters. Mainly used by Hokkaido University students. The contract period is from February 700st to the end of January 2. The contract amount for naming rights has not been disclosed.
This is the second time that Sky has acquired naming rights for a Hokkaido University facility, following Sky HALL at the Auditorium of the Organization for the Promotion of Higher Education. Sky said, ``We want to make sure that the nickname sticks with students.''
Starting in 2021, Sky will be providing information on the University of Tokyo, Osaka University, Osaka Kyoiku University, Kobe University, Kyushu University, Ochanomizu University, Aichi University of Education, Kyoto Institute of Technology, Nagoya University, Gifu University, Chukyo University, Meijo University, and Hiroshima University. They have acquired naming rights for library facilities, cafeterias, escalators (Osaka Kyoiku University), etc.
