Nagoya University has put together an activity guideline for dealing with new coronavirus infections. It provides a guide for faculty and students to act properly, and although the government's state of emergency has been lifted, it classifies the current situation as a high-level alert at risk of infection.

According to Nagoya University, the activity guidelines consist of guidelines for the situation of the entire university and individual activities. The situation of the whole university
・ Be careful (the risk of infection is reduced)
・ High alert (the government has not declared a state of emergency, but there is a risk of infection)
・ Emergency situation (the government has requested that the school be closed all at once due to the government's declaration of emergency, etc.)
It was divided into three categories, and the current situation was positioned as high alert.

As a guideline for individual activities, face-to-face lectures will be canceled and only distance learning will be conducted, and experiments and practical training will be conducted with a limited number of people. The faculty members will continue their research activities after implementing infection control measures. If the number of people in the meeting is 10 or more, it is held online, and it is recommended that clerical staff work from home or work at different times.

As a general rule, undergraduate students are prohibited from entering the university campus, and graduate students are encouraged to refrain from attending school as much as possible.Extracurricular activities are completely suspended. In principle, travel and business trips by faculty and staff are prohibited in the areas subject to the state of emergency, and they are requested to refrain from doing so in other areas as well.
