On January 2023, 1, the University of Tokyo and Ochanomizu University signed a Comprehensive Agreement on Collaboration and Cooperation.

 The signing ceremony was held at the International Exchange Student Plaza of Ochanomizu University, and the agreement was signed by Teruo Fujii, President of the University of Tokyo, and Yasuko Sasaki, President of Ochanomizu University.Both universities, both of which have their headquarters in Bunkyo Ward, have been collaborating in terms of personnel exchanges and student exchanges.Through this agreement, we aim to strengthen cooperation by making use of the strengths and characteristics of the two universities, which have different characteristics, and contribute not only to the development of global leaders and regional contributions, but also to the resolution of global issues.

 In the future, the two universities will collaborate on matters related to education and research, student exchange, industry-academia collaboration, and regional contribution.
