“People change their way of speaking and what they say based on the other person. In the same way, when a robot or computer converses with a person, it predicts to some extent what kind of person the user will be, and adapts to it. Ultimately, I want to create a system like "Doraemon" that allows communication, so I'm continuing my joint research.From the standpoint of my field of linguistics, we first need to know how people speak.Therefore, we have collected data over several years on the language used when people are conversing with each other, the gaze and gestures, the "pause" when speaking, and the way words are conveyed when chatting over text.
