It started on the official homepage of the new academic center "ACADEMIC THEATER".
"ACADEMIC THEATER" opened on the Kinki University Higashi-Osaka Campus as a base for practical education through the fusion of literature and science.The library "BIBLIO THEATER", which is the central facility of the library, has about 2 books including about 2 manga under the supervision of Seigo Matsuoka, the director of the Editorial Engineering Research Institute.In order for students to utilize the books in this library, we have started a service that introduces books suitable for each student using AI.
This service uses functions developed by Aid DCC Co., Ltd., which develops web applications, and AI analyzes student characters from the content posted on Twitter or Facebook.Based on the Big Five theory of psychology, words related to the five factors that make up human character, "openness," "integrity," "extroversion," "harmony," and "neuroticism," are extracted and scored. do.On the other hand, for the 5 books placed in BIBLIO THEATER, the book reviews are analyzed and 7 items are scored, and AI extracts the book closest to the person's characteristic distribution value as one recommended book.
Kinki University wants to provide an opportunity for students who are said to be moving away from books by creating accidental encounters with recommended books that stimulate the subconscious mind of each student. ..
