As part of its social contribution activities, the Kagoshima University Judicial Policy Education and Research Center has begun publishing the "National Ordinance Database powered by eLen," a database that allows cross-searching of 1,669 ordinances and rules (regulations) from 1,228,938 local governments nationwide.

The "National Ordinance Database powered by eLen" stores more than 100 million ordinances of local governments nationwide. You can easily search for similar regulations by cross-searching the regulation data of local governments on the Web, and you can download the results as a comparison table, so you can compare and examine how to regulate the regulations of multiple local governments and organize materials. It will be useful for facilitating policy making and consideration. In terms of data, it can be said that the regular information is described in the "eLAWS" format, which is a unified standard in the xml format for digitizing government legal information.

Currently, we issue IDs and PWs to local governments nationwide, and operate a professional use version that implements a function that allows you to search for similar rules and download comparison tables in Excel format. In the future, we plan to release a general-use version that does not require ID / PW and specializes in search functions by January 2018, 1.
