The University of Electro-Communications will hold "Takumi Girl Project 7" Science of Music "" on July 16th at the campus of Chofugaoka, Chofu City, Tokyo.Lectures by faculty members who are doing research on music, experimental experiences in the laboratory, and exchanges with senior Takumi girls are planned.

 According to the University of Electro-Communications, the event consists of three parts.In the first part, there will be lectures and questions and answers by Associate Professor Eriko Aiba of the Graduate School of Information Science and Engineering, The University of Electro-Communications, and Professor Yasushi Kanamori of the Graduate School of Information Science and Engineering, The University of Electro-Communications.The second part is a lab experience. We will actually visit two laboratories, experience a piano playing experiment and an illusion experiment, a horn playing robot's sounding experiment, and observe the actual instrument playing robot.The third part will be a lecture and a question and answer session by Rika Yano, a graduate of the senior master girl, Rika Yano, and Risa Inada, a second-year doctoral student at Kanamori Lab.

 The capacity is 24 for both lectures and lab experiences, but 1,000 people will be recruited for online viewing. Applications will start from 6:17 on June 10th (Friday) and will be accepted on the website by July 7th.Participation is free.The deadline will be reached as soon as the capacity is reached.

 Japan has long been said to be a manufacturing powerhouse, but the percentage of women in the science and engineering field remains low at around 10%.The University of Electro-Communications continues to support female junior and senior high school students in the science and engineering field under the title of Takumi Girl Project in order to train female researchers and engineers who are world-class from Japan.
