The Japan Science and Technology Agency will hold the 2016 "Global Science Campus (GSC)" National Student Research Presentation at Hitotsubashi University on September 9th and 18th, 19.As a result of the examination, 28 awards for excellence were decided.
"Global Science Campus" is a project promoted by the Japan Science and Technology Agency since 26.Participating universities are recruiting junior and senior high school students (mainly first and second year high school students) with their respective themes, with the aim of developing local talents into science and technology human resources who can play an active role globally in the future.
At this third presentation, about 3 students from 15 universities nationwide participated and a total of 100 poster presentations were made.
Among them, the degree of acquisition of scientific exploration ability required for the next generation of scientists, the professional achievement level of research, and the ability to appropriately appeal the significance and contribution of research were examined, 6 cases in the biology section, chemistry. A total of 2 cases were selected for the Excellence Award, including 2 cases in the section of Mathematics / Geography / Environment / Physics, 3 cases in the Engineering / Information section, and 3 cases in the General / Other section.
Kengo Sakaguchi, Chairman of the Global Science Campus Promotion Committee, said, "In the third year, my research content and presentation skills have definitely improved.
